Empire of the Rising Sun info

Key:
(Syn.) - Requires Nano-Synthesis (250 at Dojo and 500 at others)
(Mio.) - Requires Nano-Miosis (500 at Dojo and 1000 at others)
- Power Requirement
- Amphibious
- Non Amphibious
Amplified Bark - Instant Ability.
Riot Shield - Toggled Ability switches between two modes.
Unpack - Targeted Ability must select a location or target before using.

Infantry:

Burst Drone - $300 - A flying drone with no attack. It can see a very far way, so it makes a good scout. It attaches to enemy vehicles, both flying and not, and slows them down while revealing the area around them. It can't be attacked in this position, but can be repaired to be removed.
Self Destruct - After a slight delay, the Burst Drone blows up, taking whatever's near it out. Or at least slightly damaging it.

Imperial Warrior - $150 - The mainstay of the Empire forces, this soldier has a laser-like rifle. It's good against infantry, and can garrison buildings.
Banzai Charge - The Warrior puts away his rifle in exchange for a close range sword. He moves much faster as well, so it's good to use to catch up to an enemy who's trying to run away.

Tank Buster - $300 - This is the anti-vehicle infantry of the Empire. It takes out vehicles VERY quickly. Even Apocalypse tanks. Its weapon is a beam weapon, and it does not attack the air. Just send some anti-infantry after it, but protect your vehicles for sure.
Spider Hole - When toggled, the Tank Buster digs a hole and disappears into the ground. It has lots of armor then, but doesn't attack unless you tell it to. When you order it, it comes halfway out of the hole, still plenty of armor, and attacks. The downside is that it can't move.

Engineer - $500 - - The Empire gets an engineer as well. They can repair building back to full health or capture enemy buildings. They can even capture neutral buildings as well, but remember that any of these actions will expend the engineer and you'll need another one for further use.
Sprint - The Engineer runs for a short while, making the mad dash for the building. Be careful, because after the engineer is done running, he stands still and rests for a while. So he might just stop right outside buildings.

Shinobi - $1000 - - (Syn.) - This one is an assassin somewhat like the spy, except he's not cloaked. He can infiltrate the enemy base to knock out power, gain vision radius around the enemy's units and more. Instead of the disguise, he is able to kill enemy infantry with his swords.
Smoke Bomb - A bomb blinds enemy units which temporarily stop attacking the Shinobi, allowing him to escape or kill them.

Rocket Angel - $900 - (Mio.) - This is a flying infantry with anti-surface rocket launchers. It is good against armored units and buildings, but not so good against infantry. Yes, she looks completely anime. Take that as you will.
Paralysis Whip - When toggled on, the Rocket Angel will not use rockets, but instead paralyze enemy infantry. She can hold one in place at a time. This is good for countering heroes.

Yuriko Omega - $2000 - - (Mio.) - This one is the Japanese Schoolgirl. Supposedly taken for experiments and mistreated, she has emerged with psychic powers. No, she doesn't mind control, she destroys things with her mind! Picks up any unit and smashes it to the ground. Against buildings, she tears them to shreds with her mind. It takes the same amount of time to kill and Apocalypse Tank as a Conscript, so she can be overwhelmed by massed forces.
Psycho-Kinetic Burst - All enemy infantry in close proximity to Yuriko immediately die. It's like the Yuri mind blast.

Vehicles:

Ore Collector - $1400 - - This is the supply truck that the Empire uses to transfer Ore from the mines to the refineries. It's not very well armored, but can move decently quickly.
Convertible Gun - When toggled, a gun will emerge from the Collector's storage area. This dumps all ore out, but the unit can defend itself against Engineers.

Sudden Transport - $500 - - This is the Empire's infantry transport. It does not have any guns, and is lightly armored. Sounds useless? Well how about if it can disguise itself like any other vehicle? Just like the spy, you can target it on your or another player's vehicle and it will appear like that. Pretty handy for sneaking into bases.
Evacuate - All garrisoned units exit the vehicle.

Jet Tengu/Mecha Tengu - $800 - - This is an interesting vehicle of the Empire's. It is built as the hovering Mecha Tengu, which is very good against infantry, and in the alpha build we played, harvesters. It can tear through infantry rather well though. In Jet form, it is a solely anti-air unit. It flies around and fires missiles, but doesn't have to reload.
Jet Mode - Transforms between the Jet and Mecha mode of the Tengu.

Tsunami Tank - $1000 - - (Syn.) - This is a fast firing light tank of the Japanese. It is able to traverse the water as well as the land, but when we played, it wasn't able to shoot while on the water. It moves quickly enough though to use the water as an enemy avoidance tool to get behind the enemy base. It's good against vehicles and structures.
Kagami Armor - The next hit of damage on the tank is completely absorbed. Use when you're about to be hit by a Superweapon.

Striker VX/Chopper VX - $1400 - (Syn.) - This is another dual purpose mech. It flies and walks along the ground, but isn't amphibious. In the Striker mode, it attacks the air with guns and shoots down plenty of aircraft. It doesn't attack the ground in this mode. When in Chopper mode, it flies (duh) and uses missiles to damage vehicles and structures. It does damage infantry, but not very well.
Chopper Mode - Transforms from the Striker to the Chopper and back.

MCV - $5000 - - (Syn.) - This is the lightly armored expensive vehicle which turns into another Construction Yard. I'm not sure why you'd need two with the Empire since their Cores build so quickly.
Unpack - The MCV unpacks into a Construction Yard at the targeted location.

King Oni - $2000 - (Mio.) - This is a Samurai robot which destroys enemies with laser eyes. Yes, it sounds far fetched, but it is rather effective against enemy vehicles and buildings. King Oni doesn't walk on water, and can't attack the air, but against vehicles, he dominates. He doesn't crush enemy vehicles unless rushing.
Bull Rush - The King Oni puts down his shoulder and charges at the target. Severely damages or destroys buildings or vehicles.

Wave Force Artillery - $1200 - (Mio.) - This artillery charges up and fires a gigantic laser at enemy ground targets. It's pretty damaging to anything, but it takes a while to charge, and the unit is slow and lightly armored.
Premature Discharge - The Wave Force immediately fires its weapon, but only as much damage is done as has been charged up. So, use this to finish off an enemy building or an infantry if you know how much charge you need to kill it without waiting for full charge.

Ships:

Minisub - $700 - This boat is relatively weak, but it fires a torpedo which does plenty of damage. It's quite good against surface vessels, so to counter it, send other units which shoot torpedoes.
Detonate - Instead of attacking with a torpedo, the Minisub kamikazes itself into the enemy boat causing a lot of damage.

Sea-Wing/Sky-Wing - $1100 - (Syn.) - This is another interesting transforming unit. It starts out as an under-sea unit looking like a Manta Ray. It fires only at aircraft from under the ocean, so it's impossible to counter from the air, which makes it quite useful. In the Jet mode, it only attacks the surface, in an attack that looks very small. It doesn't do much damage, but it may change the tide of some battle somewhere.
Jet Mode - Transforms from the submarine mode to jet mode and back.

Battleship - $2000 - (Mio.) A large battleship with some cannons. It reminded me of the Allied Cruiser from RA1. It does plenty of damage from long range, but can't attack the air or undersea vessels. What else can I say? It does plenty of damage.
Ramming Speed - A shield is formed over the bow of the ship, and it moves very quickly. Then, any enemy ship it crashes into is severely damaged by the force of impact. Then the enemy sinks. Yay!

Buildings:

Defender VX - $800 - 25 - An anti infantry turret which also slightly damages vehicles. In the AA mode, it shoots down aircraft, but doesn't damage infantry.
AA Mode - Transforms between anti infantry and anti air modes.

Waveforce Tower - $1200 - 75 - The main base defense of the Empire. It has a long range and does lots of damage to the enemy surface units.

Nanoswarm Hive - $3000 - 75 - Every several minutes, you can use the Nanoswarm Hive to create an impenetrable barrier which last for 20-30 seconds. The good part about the barrier is that nothing can go from outside to inside and no weapon can shoot through the wall. It creates a circular barrier that covers most of the screen.

Psionic Decimator - $5000 - 75 - Every slightly longer several minutes, you can create a massive Psionic storm. How? I don't know. But it looks like plenty of lightning that damages everything in a large radius. So, use it to blow up the enemy base or a bunch of units.

Powers:

Fortified Fleet - Boat health and damage is increased.
Point Defense Drones - In a small radius where this is casted, drones will follow the vehicles and absorb part of the damage until they are all used up. Useful!
Final Squadron - 5 kamikaze drones fly and hit a large area target.
Final Squadron X - 10 drones.
Final Squadron Omega - 15 drones. Plenty of damage to be had.

Honorable Discharge - The units that die from special abilities cause more damage now.
Emperor's Rage - In a medium targeted radius, all your units move slower but do more damage and have more armor.
Emperor's Resolve - Even slower and even more strength.
Emperor's Retribution - Almost stopped, but almost invincible.
Robotic Assembly - Build times decreased by 25%

Advanced Rocket Pods - Rocket equipped units do more damage.
Sleeper Ambush - 5 Tank Busters burrow out of the ground anywhere.
Balloon Bomblets - 5 Balloon bombs are dropped. They slowly get to the ground, and you can give them movement orders while they are in the sky. That means you can converge them on a building or spread them out. They can be shot down, but doing so will mean that they drop instantly.
Balloon Bombs - 10 balloons.
Balloon Bomb Barrage - 15 balloons.
